69/100 MARKING COMMENTS

Research & Planning 18/20:
This student worked hard throughout the course and has provided excellent research into similar texts and target audience. Organisation of the production was incredibly well managed and there is strong evidence of drafting and work in progress. Time management was impressive as was the student's use of digital technologies in the presentation of this solid work.

Text 37/60:
This student worked incredibly hard and showed real dedication throughout the course of the construction of this artefact. The student aimed to produce a magazine of a niche genre in order to demonstrate a level of creativity and flair. Whilst she has utilised some key conventions and demonstrated proficient technical skill in her manipulation of orginal images, some aspects of the magazine such as the integration of text and style of typography, prevent this from being of a level 4 standard. This a great shame given that this student made several revisions to the work in progress following feedback and guidance.

Evaluation 14/20:
This student has shown a sound understanding of issues around audience, institution, technology, representation and forms and conventions in relation to music magazines. The student also shows a good understanding of development between the preliminary task and main production; she has effectively demonstrated an excellent ability to communicate via a range of digital formats in this impressive Blog.
